Inspired!

I don't know about you, but Heather totally inspired to me to take out my mini mister and distress ink and make a custom title for a layout. We received these products at the last Scrap retreat that the store hosted at the Blueberry Bible Camp in a nice little gift package from Lynette, and I have never even used them! I had a great mud puddle photo and wanted to make a custom looking title that looked sort of 'dirty'.

I also have a boat load of stamps, and I just picked up these AWESOME autumn leaves stamps at the store:
(I have promised myself to start using some more of my many stamps more regularly.)

I misted some light blue paper with the ink:
then I stamped my title onto the paper in brown ink and cut the letters out:
and I was totally happy with the result. Those stamps are going to get USED...! Love 'em.

And here's the finished layout that I'll bring to the store very soon.

Thanks Heather for the inspiration...it's good to just step away from the Thickers, once in awhile. (um...even though I still used some for the rest of the title.)

Love it, Jen. That stamp alphabet is really cool. I love how big it is!

Oh my goodness... Great photo. Maybe its a good thing I have girls. I am not sure I can handle the mud puddle thing. Mud and pink don't go that good together. Great layout Jen! Simple yet so effective!
