More pages from my 7Gypsies wood album

I covered up the quote marks on the green side.
Did you notice the flower punch 'negative' strip I used on the green side? I put kaiser pearls in the centre or each punched out flower.

I love the 7 gypsies gaffer tape. So easy to use! And the designs on the black background are great. The different shaped pages are a lot of fun to create with. I'll show you more of my album tomorrow.

Doodling

I had fun with my zig pen on this page. I freehanded the page border and then after cutting Tikanii out of the photo I doodled squigly lines around him.
Then I added the title, bits of 7Gypsies rubons and some Kaiser bling.
Very quick! Very fun!

Mother's Day is coming up.

I picked up one of these fun looking 7Gypsies board books with the plan of filling it full of photos of the kids and sending it to my Mum.
I also picked up 7Gypsies papers with coordinating rub-ons, stickers and brads. Love when everything matches and I don't have to think too hard about what goes with what.

I chose three Making Memories paints that matched and painted the front and backs of each page with a dry brush. I didn't worry too much about even coverage; I wanted a distressed look.

Once the paint was dry I chose my photos and started working on my pages. Here are the first couple before I glued anything down. I punched the flowers out of the red and white polka dot paper using the white dots as the flower center. I think I need to add some stickers to this page.

I like the way this page is looking. Maybe some doodling and a few of those red & white flowers?

I'll show you more of this mini album as and when I get it done.

Prima's April Sketch

Prima has their April sketch up. You can check out what their fabulous DT has done with the sketch on the Prima blog. Everything from one photo layouts, to 4 photo, to six photo. It's amazing how everyone can come up with such unique layouts using one sketch for inspiration.
I used two photos on my 'Captain Cutie' layout.

The papers are all Cosmo Cricket from their 'Campy' line. I embellished with some Pebbles chipboard, Prima pretties and the title is Chatterbox 'Artsy-licious'
