I started off by spraying brown ink in two places on my background. I used the backing of the Prima felt 'Devines' as a stencil and sprayed over them.

Next I cut random strips of Quick Quotes patterned paper. Most of the strips are 9" or 10" long and 1-1/2" wide. I cut thinner strips to layer on top. I love this line of papers for outdoor photos. And it's double sided so you have choices!

Once I'd glued down the strips and adhered my photos I was ready to embellish my page. I crumpled and inked a couple of shipping tags, then tore them to the length I wanted. I stamped the longer tag with an Inque Botique journaling stamp. The shorter tag was glued down to the left hand page and I stuck my 'Thicker' title across it.
I bought this Quickutz 'flourish' die a while back and haven't gotten around to breaking open the package yet. I think it looks like water splashing so I cut a couple of sets to tuck in and around my tags. I love how they add movement to my layout. There are some central cuts that don't go all the way around so parts of the die pop up, giving it a 3D effect.

I added Hero Arts bling in a random pattern around my 'splashes'. You can see it better if you enlarge the layout above by clicking on it. I finished the layout off by topping my two tags with a couple of Prima 'Sprites' flowers layered with a Kaiser brad to hold it together, and I stuck down the two Prima leaf stems (Devines) I had used as a stencil earlier.

Beautiful layout. Love all the techniques.
I really love this layout - the spray of ink is a fabulous touch! And I have to get me some of that Prima felt!
