Adventure with Simple Stories

We didn't just do Rappelling on our Mexican vacation.  We also did some zip lining.  Having teenagers makes you adventurous!

I love the Urban Traveler line by Simple Stories!
I started off with plain green cardstock.  I sprayed my 12 x 12 leaf mask with green ink and then added some drips of bronze paint.  I stamped some dragonflies with the paint as well as some with white and black ink. I finished my background with some black glitter and brown glimmer mist.

The patterned papers are all Simple Stories as are the stickers.  Washi tape helped hold down the patterned paper.

I always find a place for vellum on my page. Here I punched leaves out of vellum and grouped them with a brown flower, Kaiser brad in the center, Kaiser wood camera and a sticker.

I just love these little frames.  Perfect for accenting a photo.

I used Kaiser jewels on the stamped dragonflies.

Simple Stories 'Urban Traveller'

We all took a turn at rappelling down the cliff.  This is a layout for my son's album.

I started off with a brown paper. It has kind of a wood grain or distressed background.  I sprayed white mist over my leaf mask and then dripped green MM paint down from the top.  The patterned papers are from Simple Stories 'Urban Traveler' line as are the stickers. I've also used some Prima packaging (I've punched butterflies out)

I used all 3 of the alpha stickers from the Simple Stories sticker sheet on my title. Also some Kaiser bling, thread and a Prima flower.

I just love the old fashioned camera.  I've grouped a stamp, leaf punch, a word sticker, bling and the chipboard camera. I like groups of five!

Love these chipboard arrows. And did you notice the 'face' I've inked in.  There are five 'faces' on my layout to find.

Instead of framing a part of my photo with this 'fun' frame I've used it to accent a couple of stickers.  There are lots of these in a pack so you can use them in all kinds of different ways.

The next time you're in Unforgettable Memories check out the great selection of chipboard and wood cut designs.  There is a chipboard wall where most of the designs are located, but keep your eyes open as you're wondering through the aisles because there is more.
