More stock again today! Lots of ink pads arrived from Tuskineko as well as some reinkers. If you were after a Glue Pad or White Stazon they are now here! I thought I'd give a quick little rundown of some basic ink pads, as they can get confusing.
Staz on: This ink is great for stamping on non-porous surfaces. In scrapbooking we use it most to distress clear acrylic books (Heidi Swapp Ghost Shapes, clear albums).
Versa fine: Do you have stamps that you can never get quite a clear impression with? Versafine is perfect for those really detailed images (think: sketched stamps, stamps with shading, or lots of detail). You'll get a gorgoues image every time.
Archival ink: This is waterproof. Great for using watercolour pencil crayons or blender pens to colour in images because it won't smudge.
Adirondack: Use these for general stamping on cardstock. They are also the inks we use on glossy paper to create the Stampscapes designs.
Versacolour: Pigment ink for general stamping. Also good for heat embossing.
There's more ink pads out there, but hopefully that helped you to understand some of the more common ones from Tsukineko and Ranger. If you have questions about any of them come on in or send me an email.
I also just got word that some preorders from Prima and Pink Paislee are shipping soon. I can't remember what I ordered to be completely honest, but both companies have some really great stuff. Pink Paislee is a brand new company that has some excellent die cut papers. I can't wait for these to arrive!
