Family Tree papers

I was working with a piece of Bella Blvd's 'Family Tree' line last month.  Before the challenge was posted, but I thought I'd show you anyway. It's the orange patterned paper directly under the photo.  I mixed it up with a bunch of different scraps I had.  Theres some Little Yellow Bicycle, some 7 Gypsies, some Bo Bunny, some Cosmo Cricket and some I can't place.
I sprayed the Tim Hortons grunge numbers with 'Soot' Glimmer Mist.

Just a quick layout because I wanted to list all my sons favourite things at this time in his life; his music, computer games, practicing driving, working out with friends...

A 'favourites' page is a neat theme for a yearly layout.  Things come and go in childrens lives and it's fun to look back and remember what was 'in' as they were growing up.  Do you remember your favourite music at 15?  I remember listening to the Grease soundtrack over and over on a little portable turntable.  That ages me ;)

Look what I bought the last time I was in Unforgettable Memories.

It's a punch with 3 matching stamps so you can add detail to the punches.

What a great idea.

I was stamping little brown birds on some tan coloured paper last night, and then punching them out.  I have quite the flock ready for my next layout. I'm thinking they would look cute perched randomly on a banner or lined up across the top of a journaling block or tucked in amongst some Prima blooms.  I'll show you next week what I decided to do with them.
